My favorite beauty products of August 2023

I am grateful for the summer sun, but honestly, I am a fall person at heart when the air is crisp yet not too cold, and the days are warm enough that you don't have to be all bundled up in a winter coat. Another exciting aspect of the fall is that my face isn't forever sweating, so all my skinvestment products last longer.

Here are my favorite August beauty discoveries

I love the Thrive Causemetics' philosophy, so I am a big fan of its products- Thrive Causemetics eyeliner is my new favorite because it lasts all day, and now I am falling for the dreamy blushes. These super blendable blushes add a natural flush of color while providing hydration to keep your skin looking fuller and healthier. My go-to shades are Destinae (Coral Shimmer) and Midori (Berry Matte). Wearing a little blush is the easiest way to take years off your face.

If you lack sleep like me and struggle with tired-looking eyes, try this illuminating eye cream with 2% vitamin K liposome complex to deeply nourish the area, and it has light-reflecting pearl pigments to brighten the area so you can look more awake. Available in two shades, Light/Medium (which I use) and Medium/Deep, it works for all skin tones.

Good brows are always in, and if you want a quick and easy way to get perfect brows, I totally recommend Make Beauty Infinite Hold Sculpting Brow Gel & Tint because it can sculpt, hold, define, and set hairs in place all day.

So even if your life is a mess, your brows will be on-point, and it's available in Cool Brown and Clear.

I love makeup, but I hate carrying products around for touchups, so if you're like me, you'll love Milani's array of setting sprays.

I am a big fan of the setting spray with the dewy finish because it moisturizes and illuminates your skin, so your skin will look like your skin but better. Radiate away with confidence when you set your makeup with this wonder.

Function of Beauty has done it with its customized shampoos for specific hair types (straight, wavy, curly, and coily) with any damage. These bond-building (Adaptive f3 Bonding Complex) shampoos strengthen and soften hair and are safe for colored hair too.

I love its Recovery Collection for Straight, Damaged Hair with a boost of the brand's "the lift legend" that helps with volume.

My skin is normal to oily, but I like this CeraVe Hydrating Foaming Oil Cleanser because it feels super hydrating after I wash my face without any greasy feel, and it gets rid of all my makeup, even the waterproof one.

I do love how it maintains the skin barrier, and I can use it anywhere on my body too. It's such a safe choice for people with sensitive skin too.
