Beauty products I'm loving this summer of 2023

My favorite thing about summer is traveling. My second favorite thing about summer is discovering beauty products I can travel with that will keep me feeling and looking beautiful, no matter the time zone.

I am loyal to some beauty brands and their products because they haven't ever disappointed me, but I am always open to trying new ones because there's no harm except you might actually fall in love with them too.

Here are some of my favorite beauty products for the summer that will be traveling with me everywhere I go.

An essential beauty product is always sunscreen, and I love this antioxidant and squalene-infused serum that protects you from UVA/ UVB rays and even blue light (guilty of spending too much time on my phone and in front of the laptop).

It's clear, goes on beautifully, and can work well under makeup too.

We often forget to use sun protection on our lips, which are also prone to burning and aging, so I never forget this SPF-infused lip balm that keeps my lips soft, hydrated, and protected.

Bigger Than Beauty is the sister company of Thrive Causemetics that gave us the viral mascara, and this lip balm doesn't disappoint either.

I've always been so good about sunscreen, but still not immune to hyperpigmentation and sun spots.

This brightening treatment has tranexamic acid, niacinamide, and licorice root extract: all powerhouses for evening out your skin tone while reducing dark spots and making you all glowy.

I only use it at night on areas where I have discoloration and happily watch them fade.

Just because it's summer doesn't mean you forget to moisturize your skin, especially at night when it is renewing and rejuvenating itself.

This saffron-infused night cream deeply hydrates my skin while evening out my skin tone and brightening it (thanks to all the hyperpigmentation). Saffron is THE most expensive spice in the world, and for a good reason, so why not indulge in this night cream and wake up feeling more beautiful than ever?

I am obsessed with Wonderskin WONDER BLADING Peel & Reveal Lip Stain Kit because it's one lip product that I can trust to stay on after 8 hours of eating, drinking, and running around, and it still looks perfect.

So, there's no surprise; the eyeliner is equally reliable and long-lasting, perfect for people like me who do not like retouching their makeup. It's highly pigmented, doesn't smudge or transfer, and is waterproof.

Lip stains are the best thing in the world because they leave a flush of color, and you don't have to worry about how your lips look hours later.

I always loved Stila Cosmetics' liquid lipstick, but I am an even bigger fan of the lip stain. Its blade-like tip is perfect for drawing precise lines and filling in the color.

Plus, I like that it doesn't dry your lips at all. It's available in eight shades, and my favorites are Michelle and Stacey.

How something (or someone) smells is very important to me. If this fragrance were a person, I'd be in love.

I love this gender-neutral scent that beautifully fuses Verdant fig leaves and white musk and reminds me of being out in nature where life is perfect. It also has notes of uplifting lime and warm cedar and reminds me of my first love Maine.

Plus, the bottle is a gorgeous emerald green, and I could stare at it forever. It's great for the senses.

My hair needs all the help it can get in the volume department, and for summer, I can't do without this volumizing foam, which gives my hair so much body from the root.

Without it, my hair would be so flat, and humidity isn't kind to me either. This foam provides thermal protection, so you don't have to worry about the hairdryer.

If you aren't born with it, you got to get this.

Once my hair is in the right place, I need a strong hairspray to hold the style with zero crunchiness.

This Pureology hairspray is my favorite because it holds my style ALL DAY while keeping my hair so shiny.

It ensures my hair is in place for every picture, no matter what time I did my hair, and I love the smell of tuberose, almond milk, and cedarwood.
